After a lengthy investigation and recovery operation, the U.S. Coast Guard's public hearing called upon testimonies from key individuals, either connected to OceanGate, or the Titan sub in some way. This video covers the testimony given by Dr. Don Kramer, a Senior Materials Engineer at the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB). In this video, Dr Kramer shares a presentation, showing findings from material analysis that was undertaken on pieces of Titan's debris, as well as other materials, such as end sections of the submersible's hulls. This presentation shows various flaws with both versions of Titan's hull, such as waves and wrinkles in the carbon fiber, and voids in the adhesive. Also included is dive data from dive 80, the dive where a loud bang was heard, and where a visible shift in the data can be seen. Thank you for watching!
