Mountain Warfare Training

Marines with Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron (HMH) 462 supported cold weather training known as Mountain Exercise, with Marines from 2nd Battalion, 2nd Marine Division, at the Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center in Bridgeport. Mountain Exercise is a two-week training exercise that enables Marines to perform various mission sets in a cold weather environment. U.S. Marines with 2nd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division (MARDIV), conduct training and physical conditioning at Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center (MCMWTC). The MCMWTC consists of cold weather and mountainous environment training where U.S. Marines, Joint, and Allied forces conduct unit and individual training courses to prepare for extreme mountainous conditions.
