Stephen and Suzanne, this week stumble across one of Queensland's most unusual swimming spots—Kimbombi Falls. The gorge is absolutely spectacular, but the water is an incredible bright green that looks almost toxic! Is it safe... and would you swim here? We continue north to spend the night beside the historic abandoned Chowey Bridge, a heritage-listed timber bridge built in 1940 across the Burnett River. Once an important transport link for the region's cattle, timber and rural communities, it's now a peaceful spot where we soak up the sounds of birds, frogs and wildlife before settling in around a crackling campfire beneath a sky full of stars. With the rain finally behind us, we roll into Eidsvold to discover the remarkable story of R.M. Williams. Long before the famous boots became an Australian icon, Reginald Murray Williams learned his bushcraft from legendary bushman Dollar Mick. In the 1930s he began handcrafting leather goods in the outback, eventually creating the one-piece leather boot that would make the R.M. Williams name famous around the world. We explore the town where his incredible journey began and learn how one man's passion for the Australian bush built a legendary brand.
