Day Odyssey Series: Frostburg MD (with Nat'l Pike parts) (May 2 2021)

A throwback to the good 'ol Odyssey days-literally! A combination of routes, including one we first discovered a few decades back! This one takes us over various parts of the original National Pike from Baltimore to Frostburg MD, with stops at points of interest along the way. Lots of scenery as well, along with quaint hamlets! Too much to mention-you'll have to watch! The National Pike (most of which is now US 40) is a fascinating road to discover. Historic maps from 70-100 years back showing it on various different alignments, and part of the fun is finding those alignments! For those so inclined, the website NETR Historic Aerials has a great collection of classic maps! Nice classic aerials too. Anyway, gonna make an effort to get back into making classic Odysseys again! Yes, have had to slow down a bit because of things, but I'm still standing-and will continue to as long as I can.
