COLÉGIO PORTAL SEGURO CELEBRA A CULTURA AFRICANA NO FESTIVAL DE FIM DE ANO LECTIVO
Portal Seguro School Celebrates African Culture at End-of-Year Festival The historic Tivoli Cinema in Luanda proved too small this Saturday morning, June 6th, to host the Portal Seguro Private School's End-of-Year Festival. The event was marked by joy, the talent of the students, and the appreciation of African and Angolan culture. The festival brought together representatives from various African countries, highlighting traditional dances such as Rebita, Kuduro, and Cabetula, culminating in a vibrant display of Angolan Carnival. The happiness was evident on the faces of the more than 700 young participants. Dilma, a 6th-grade student, highlighted the support received from the teachers throughout the preparation process for the festival. Lívia, 6 years old, and Elisandra, 5 years old, also expressed their satisfaction with the activity, praising the organization and the moments of learning and fun provided by the Portal Seguro School's administration. For Adélia Tati, the emotion was also evident. The student revealed that she really enjoyed participating in the dances and thanked Professor Geraldo for his constant encouragement. Adélia also confessed that, to perform in front of an audience full of adults, she had to overcome her shyness. Parents were delighted with the initiative, highlighting the excellent organization, the promotion of Angolan culture, and the children's performance. Many recommended Colégio Portal Seguro for the quality of its teaching and the support given to its students. Behind each performance was the commitment and dedication of the teachers, who worked hard for several months to prepare the students and end the 2025/2026 school year in style. The director of Colégio Privado Portal Seguro, Leida Afonso, emphasized that working with children is a true blessing. The director also highlighted that the success of the festival was the result of hard work, dedication, unity, and team spirit. To the sound of music and dance, more than 700 children celebrated the traditional End-of-Year Festival at Colégio Portal Seguro, in a journey of exaltation of culture, education, and the values that unite the school community.
