Anna Sinebrychoff – Edelläkävijä

Anna Sinebrychoff (1830–1904) was an exceptional woman who ran one of Finland’s most successful businesses, the Sinebrychoff Brewery, at the end of the 19th century. She was aware of her own influence and used it single-mindedly as chair of the company’s board, in Helsinki’s social circles, and in charity work. The video gives us an overview of the journey made by this gentle, strong-willed young woman to becoming the influential matriarch of the Sinebrychoff family. The video was produced as part of the exhibition Anna Sinebrychoff – Ahead of Her Time, which is on display at the Sinebrychoff Art Museum from 3 March 2025 to 29 August 2027.
