My goal with this project is to popularize and disseminate the methods and approaches of horsemanship and ethology, so that we can all better understand horses and interact with them more effectively. Many topics are covered in my content: theory, practice, science, detailed analyses, reflections, behaviors, etc., always emphasizing sharing and exchange. Questioning assumptions and open-mindedness are integral parts of the adventure. To support us and help us progress, many renowned professionals collaborate with Anima Equi. • TEAM PRESENTATION • My name is Mathilde Chabany, and I began groundwork training on my own in 2014. Driven by the desire to share this passion, I created Anima Equi in 2015 on Facebook and started making videos on YouTube in 2016. I have worked alone on the project since its launch and developed it from start to finish, managing every stage of production. From 2015 to 2022, I was accompanied by my two grey ponies, Ladakh and Chanel. Since 2016, I have worked with numerous horses belonging to owners who help me progress and illustrate my content. I have worked with dozens of them on a voluntary basis for 10 years. In 2023, I became the owner of Lovely Joy, a 4-month-old Paint Horse filly when I met her, who has been with me every day since. And in 2024, my ultimate dream finally came true as I turned professional, becoming an equine behaviorist, which allows me to train both humans and horses in groundwork.
