Gluten Free Sugar Cookies with Royal Icing
Sugar cookies are a must during the Christmas season and making cute cut out ones is something that my children beg for every year. I was having a hard time finding a recipe that held it's shape so I made my own and I was so happy to find that they turned out perfect! My kids were over the moon for these gluten free cookies and love the decorate them every year. They are so easy to whip up because I use Bob's Red Mill Gluten Free 1 to 1 baking flour in them. They always turn out so good when I use this flour and I pretty much refuse to use anything else. These cookies are not too sweet and are perfect to add frosting to. The royal icing is the perfect compliment to this cookie and my wonderful sister in law, Katie Pinson, was kind enough to come and demonstrate how to decorate them.
