IBM 5150 Tecmar Captain RAM Card Upgrade
Time to upgrade my IBM 5150, and it can basically be done completely with just one card. Monotech XT-IDE Review: • XT-IDE Setup and DOS Install It's so nice to have this computer be done now. This brings it up to the level of expected features where it should be able to run anything I can throw at it(well, within reason). There is still one more hardware thing I want to try out with this computer... but that will have to wait for a later video. The problem with my 5153 should just be a couple of failing caps on the signal processing board, I'll probably just go ahead and recap the whole thing. So you can look forward to that at some point as well! I thought I was nearing the end of this IBM PC kick I've been on, but there is always more it seems.
