Australian guitarist Andrey Lebedev came to international prominence when invited by Julian Bream to perform a London recital including new commissions by Sir Harrison Birtwistle and Leo Brouwer in 2014. The following year he collaborated with John Williams on an Australian chamber music project which included the world premiere of ‘Gertrude Fragments’ by Brett Dean. He exhibits a ceaseless curiosity which has seen him develop projects ranging from duos on Renaissance lute to Radiohead arrangements on electric guitar.
