Republic F-84 Thunderjet - A Short History
The Republic F-84 Thunderjet was intended as a replacment for the Republic P-47 Thunderbolt. It was developed during the 1940:s, and was a straight-winged American turbojet fighter-bomber, capable of inflight refueling and was the first fighter capable of carrying a nuclear weapon.
