As per previous years, for my Birthday I get on a plane... and as with last year, fly to Tokyo for the weekend. Huge thanks to the Sydney Qantas First Lounge staff (Greg) for the surprise Fruit Platter. Boarding for the flight was at one of the remote gates closer to the Domestic Terminal and Qantas JetBase, however, this always provides for a great opportunity to do some plane spotting up nice and close. The flight was 100% full, so no luxury of an empty seat alongside. The flight was uneventful, meals good, and service from all the crew was great, as always. Stephen (Manager) & Scott (Supervisor) were great, and the Birthday Card signed by all the crew was appreciated. Having Carry-On baggage only, after we arrived it only took a few minutes to clear immigration then customs, and off to the train I went...
