Canyon Camping on Boulders at Mark Twain National Forest
This is the final episode of a week-long trip to the Mark Twain National Forest, Missouri, USA. Bob ( / bob808knight ) and I hiked the Marble Creek section of the Ozark Trail and camped near Crane Lake. This time, I carried a map / compass and Bob carried extra water. The scenery was awesome. We wanted to camp on the cliffs, but discovered that the vegetation was too sensitive; so instead we selected large boulders. It took “creative engineering” to set-up my hammock and Bob’s tent. Videography by Ken Kramm and Bob Knight, 1 October 2014; Canon Vixia HF G10; Final Cut Pro X.
