Bushcraft Fishing Rod and Spinning Reel made in the Woods

For this a light spoon lure that travel high in the water is ideal because this gear less reel gives the lure a slower speed in the water. It would also be ideal to carve a wobbler, bottom fishing or angle with a floater, hook, line and sinker. In a survival scenario this would be invaluable if you have the basics for sawing, drilling and cutting in your pack. (I I trust that hooks and some line is in every survival kit). This was try Nr one for me and still I got a fish in under 30 minutes! I already have at least 3 improvements in mind to make it more effective and easy to handle. More coming up so stay tuned folks!
