Rusty/Corroded Rear Axle - Full Replacement - Fiat Panda, Fiat 500 and Ford Ka - Part 1

Part 1 of 2 - In this video I remove a rusty/corroded rear axle beam on a 2009 Fiat Panda. Other cars sharing this platform and also prone to the same issues include the Fiat 500, Ford Ka and Chrysler Ypsilon. I also have replacement rear suspension components, including rear coil springs, rear shock absorbers and bump stops. I will replace brake components including rear brake shoes, rear brake drums, rear wheel cylinders, handbrake cables, spring kit, metal brake lines/pipes and bleed the brakes with fresh brake fluid. The wheel bearings will be replaced however the backplates and stub axles will be re-used, along with ABS wheel/speed sensor. In Part 2, the axle beam will be refitted to the vehicle, along with the components detailed above.
