🙏 BLESSING OF THE DAY | July 18, 2026 | Today's Gospel | Matthew 12:14-21 Peace and good! In today's Blessing of the Day, we are invited to listen to the Gospel of Matthew 12:14-21, in which Jesus reveals himself as the chosen Servant of God: meek, silent, merciful, and full of the Holy Spirit. Today's Word reminds us that Jesus did not come to crush the weak, nor to extinguish the small flame of hope that still exists in our hearts. He comes to heal, uplift, restore, and guide our lives with love, patience, and mercy. 📖 Today's Gospel: Matthew 12:14-21 Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia. In Christ, God reconciled humanity to himself; and to us he entrusted this reconciliation. Proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Matthew. Glory to you, Lord. At that time, 14 the Pharisees went out and plotted to kill Jesus. 15 When Jesus learned of this, he withdrew from there. Large crowds followed him, and he healed them all. 16 And he ordered them not to tell who he was, 17 so that what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah might be fulfilled: 18 “Here is my servant, whom I have chosen, my beloved, in whom my soul delights; I will put my Spirit on him, and he will proclaim justice to the nations. 19 He will not quarrel or cry out, nor will anyone hear his voice in the streets. 20 A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out, till he brings justice to victory. 21 In his name the nations will put their hope.” — The Gospel of the Lord. — Glory to you, Lord. ✨ Reflection of the day: Jesus teaches us that true strength lies in meekness, faithfulness, and trust in God. Even in the face of persecution and rejection, He remains steadfast in His mission. Today, we are invited to surrender our sorrows to the Lord and allow Him to rekindle faith, hope, and peace within us. 🙏 Special blessing for today: Receive this blessing by asking God for the grace of meekness, inner healing, restoration of faith, and protection over your life and your family.
