TfL Buses - The Journey to a Zero Emission Bus Fleet
The Mayor of London set the challenge of transforming the entire Transport for London (TfL) Bus fleet to zero tailpipe emissions by 2034 or earlier. In this presentation Finn Coyle, Head of Engineering, Buses with TfL discusses the air quality challenges in London, measures implemented so far, technology trials and the strategy and challenges of moving the fleet to zero emissions. Finn is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer with a background in diesel engine performance and emissions development.
