Dejaron todo para viajar en su motorhome por el mundo
Who says there's an age limit to fulfill a dream? We met a couple in their fifties in Patagonia who decided to embark on the journey as adults. They traveled from Uruguay on a 10-meter bus. They told us what it's like to travel by bus, how they financed their trip, what their family said when they decided to quit their jobs to embark on the adventure, and they gave us a tour of their house on wheels, which in my opinion is one of the most beautiful we've found on the road. If you'd like to learn more about our book "Here We Go, A Kombi Trip Through South America," visit https://www.suenosderuta.com/libros/l... It tells the story of our trip through South America. A journey of more than two years and 35,000 kilometers. A trip in which everything happened to us, from the mechanical difficulties we had to deal with along the way to the birth of our first child. Yes! We spent an entire pregnancy traveling through three different countries to finally have our son in Ecuador. Who are we? We are Lau, Facu, and Río, a traveling family. In 2015, we grabbed our bikes and embarked on a zigzagging adventure between Argentina and Chile, crossing the Andes Mountains four times and traveling more than 7,500 kilometers. After a year of pedaling, we decided to change our mode of transportation and continue our journey aboard a 1987 Volkswagen Kombi. We converted it into a camper, and in 2017, we set off across South America, a trip that lasted more than two years and took us to Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, and Colombia. This trip was a turning point in our lives, not only because of the 30,000 kilometers we traveled, but also because our first child, Río, was born halfway there. After a long trip around South America, we returned to our country to visit family and introduce our beautiful baby. Back in Argentina, we sold the Kombi, which had been our home for over two years, and in 2020 we decided to embark on a new journey to Central America. In the middle of that trip, the global pandemic didn't hit, but we were able to travel, taking the necessary precautions. Upon returning from that trip, we bought an 11-meter bus to convert it into our future home on wheels. Subscribe to our channel to see how it's going, chapter by chapter. Always looking for a new adventure, a new challenge. We define ourselves as a traveling family, who believes that dreams are made to be fulfilled. #familytravel #busconvertion #bustomotorhome #roaddreams #collectivetomotorhome #vanlife #nomade #adventure #camperize #camperization #travelersonroad #trips #adayontheroad #buslife #riocolorado #travelingcollective #motorhome #villapehunia #alumine #andesmountains #andes #neuquen #patagonia #lagolacar #travelingchildren #travelingfamily #growingupontheroad #travelingpablito #travelvalelapena #isaporahi #greeninside #sanmartindelosandes #travelranch #uruguay #uruguayantravelers
