Borlaza Synopsis: Roselle (Vina Morales) Vera (Gelli de Belen) and Gemma (Mariz) are childhood friends. Roselle was raised by her grandmother while her mother lives in the city looking after of her husband's daughter Vera who is also a dear friend to Roselle. Despite their distance their love for each other never dwindled. Gemma also came from the province but moved to the city when her father died. Having forced by her aunt to enhance her vocal talent she soon finds herself recording her own album through the help of an admirer. Roselle later moves in to the city to be with her mother. While mother and child tries to revive lost times the blossoming love between her and Jake (Kempee) almost wrecked the strong bond between her and her mother's. Vera on the other hand tries to live her carfree life even if it meant hurting the people around her. When Roselle almost left her mother for Jake she is crushed when she finds her mother weeping for her husband who left her for another woman. Finally having faced all troubles Roselle's mother flies to the U.S. to win her husband back.
