Informality, digitalization, precarity… Promoting decent work — that is, productive work that ensures fair income, rights, social protection, and supports sustainable economic growth — is now a global challenge. Mexico, like many Latin American countries, is at the heart of this issue: more than one in two workers in the country holds an informal job. ▶ During this #ExpertiseMeeting, we will explore how these challenges can be addressed collectively through local and international cooperation: How can decent work be strengthened in the face of global labor transformations, drawing on cross-perspectives from Latin America, Africa, and Europe?
