Retirement Journey, Not What I Expected—2; Where Will I Live

After retiring from a busy, demanding career as a RN, and after my 5 children are grown and have their own careers and children, I realize that retirement is an ongoing journey of changes and adjustments. I will share some of my experiences and welcome others to share what makes their golden years of retirement enjoyable and fulfilling. One decision is where do I want to live now so I can best enjoy this time in my life. I will discuss the pros and cons of staying in our home, moving to an apartment, or senior living facility or a senior condo community. Sometimes it’s a difficult decision and if what we decide doesn’t work as we expected, we can change to another arrangement. Please let me know if you’re already retired or looking forward to it and where you decided to live. Also, let me know if you want a fall style show this year. Blessings to all.
