S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 - Heart of Chornobyl #1,670: The Grindstone

At the Duga Officer's Quarters, I go to my stash at the Fire Depot, where I load up all the AKM-74U, Vipers, M860 shotguns and high-end pistols. I passed by the Loners sitting around the campfire, then going out the front gate and up the hill to the Radio Tower camp. My HUD turns red, but I look around and do not see the threat, so I continue going east and I'm soon passing south of the Helicopter Base. I take the next road going north, where I come under fire by three Bandits in the burnt woods, shooting two of them quickly and then the third behind a tree. I went to go loot them and continued through the woods going east, where I shortly arrived at Kazkovyi Camp. I go to my stash to drop off the bulk of looted weapons, stopping by to see the Medic, then I am out the front door and going west through the woods, where I hear gunfire before I get to the main road. I turn south and my HUD detects an enemy in the woods, fighting unknown forces. I see a Bandit, taking cover behind a tree, and with one headshot I take him down. I go to loot the Bandit, where I meet a three-man Ward squad, where I talk to their leader and then loot two more dead Bandits. This new loot, of course makes me have to return to Kazkovyi Camp to drop it off, and I am quickly going back west again and taking the road south once more. I take the familiar paths all the way back to the Duga without incident, arriving at the Officer's Quarters, still enjoying the sunny skies and good weather. I grab a load of sixteen hunting shotguns and depart the Duga compound quickly, going out the front gate and taking the same path by the Radio Camp on the hill. I take the roads going south past the Helicopter Base and then turn north on the main road, where I soon divert off into the woods going east back to Kazkovyi Camp. When I arrive, I find there has been a Bandit attack. There are dead Bandits inside the bar and the sleeping quarters and some dead Loners and Bandits outside in the back. I loot all I can and add it to my stash, then going back outside, I find the weather has changed to being overcast and it starts raining. I decide I have made enough gun runs back and forth from the Duga to Kazkovyi Camp, and I need to check on other places that I have not been to for a while. Game Note:
