Super Shallow Bream and Flathead

Fishing the shallow waters of East Gippsland can be an absolute blast when the fishing is on. I was fishing depths from about 1.3m to even sitting in 400mm of water casting to the land and hooking up to great numbers of fish. Using lures that were made for shallow water and lures that were made to even fish deeper water to make the lure dig into the sand creating disturbance in the sand allowing more fish to see the distortion and then chasing down my lures. I still can't believe how shallow some fish will sit.
