Flying High Over Virginia's Blue Ridge Mountains

It's the last weekend in November and uncommonly frigid, but the winds are light and the air is calm so we're heading out to explore the mountains of southwest Virginia! We'll follow the Blue Ridge from Warrenton-Fauquier Airport (KHWY), hop over to the New River Valley, and make our way northeast along the Alleghenies before crossing over Shenandoah National Park on our way home. Along the way we'll gas-up at Twin County Airport (KHLX) in Hillsville and make a quick stop at New River Valley Airport (KPSK).
