If you guys watch this.... you'll find that hard to believe because the car looks so far away from being finished. But a lot happened in a short time. At the end of this video, you will also see the patina being paint matched on the fiberglass and carbon fiber pieces we laid up many videos ago. One day when we were sitting down, I was looking at a spot on the door that was still in primer and I saw the carbon fiber shining through... which kind of matched where rust would naturally come through on a steel door. So I had the idea, and mentioned it to dad, that we should leave the carbon showing through on those pieces, so it looked like carbon fiber "rust" spots. And we ran with it!
