How to Build FLOATING CAMPS in 2025 | Fallout 76 (Camp Tutorials)

Want a shorter tutorial that just gets to the point?! In today's Fallout 76 Tutorial video, I am bringing you my first camp build attempt tutorial & this one is a good one. This demonstrates several examples of floating camps Ive built, including one at the Moth Man event in Point Pleasant (0:48) and another above the Meat Week location near Vault 76 (2:26). These camps can be used for AFKing (away from keyboard) events to still receive rewards (4:05, 4:31) and to impress other players (0:30). Key steps and considerations for building a floating camp: • Location Selection and Camp Module Placement (5:45): You need to start far enough away from your desired floating location to place your camp module, ensuring it's in a "green" build zone (5:50). • Blueprint Creation for Pillars (6:59): • Place a small floor decoration (like a toy truck or robot) on a floor foundation (6:59). • Glitch a second foundation onto the first, near the small object (7:32). • Create a blueprint of these two glitched foundations, preferably making them taller with an extra piece for easier placement later (8:17, 8:57). • Blueprint Creation for Stairs and Walls (9:02): Blueprint various stair configurations and wall types you intend to use for your camp (9:02-9:50). • The "Skipping" Process (11:18): • Build a tall structure with pillars and stairs (10:02). • Duplicate your camp module using "free cam" mode and by mashing the 'A' button (or equivalent) (10:31). This duplicated module acts as a temporary platform. • Jump from your current position onto the duplicated module while simultaneously placing a new camp module directly on top of the duplicated one. This will store everything below you, leaving you standing on the new module (11:21). • Immediately place a blueprinted pillar from your stored items (12:13). This step is crucial and requires patience, as failing to place it and falling will make it difficult to get back up (12:21, 12:52). • Achieving Height (13:53): Continuously repeat the "skipping" process by building pillars and then relocating your camp module upwards. The goal is to get high enough so that when you extend platforms, they are above the "red line" of the desired location (17:16, 18:12). • Dealing with Lag (14:55): If you're having trouble duplicating the camp module, creating lag by launching a nuke near your location or building during a public event can help (15:05). • Connecting Your Base (19:34): Once you've reached the desired height, you can start building your camp by placing stairs (19:34) and then connecting blueprinted floor sections underneath (20:11). Specifically i recommend using side stairs for easier connection to blueprinted squares (20:02) stresses the importance of patience throughout the process, especially during the "skipping" steps (12:54, 15:56).
