This section of the 34km Sunyani Outer Ring Road forms part of the NDC Big Push Programme, an ambitious infrastructure initiative aimed at improving mobility, trade, and development in the Sunyani Municipality. Along the route, you’ll see ongoing construction works by Kofi Job Co. Ltd, the contractor in charge of the project. Several excavators are currently working near Nanketewa, where some structures and houses on the road alignment are set for demolition to pave way for the new road expansion.
