The majority of Mr. Liek's bonsai collection consists of Cypress sinensis and Sargenti, as well as other species. He hand-crafted all the trees in his collection without the assistance of a trainer. Mr. Liek learned extensively from world-renowned Japanese bonsai masters, including Master Kimura. Before the pandemic, Mr. Liek always made time to travel to Japan at least twice a year.
