Plain Ceramic Jug Makeover with Chalk Paint & Napkins | Easy Decoupage DIY

Give a plain ceramic jug a beautiful new look with chalk paint, paper napkins and decoupage glue. In this beginner-friendly DIY makeover, I show how to cover an old floral design, apply chalk paint with a sponge, separate napkin plies, blend different napkin designs, decorate curved areas and protect the finished piece with varnish. This is a simple and creative way to turn an ordinary jug into a unique decorative piece for your home. You can use the same technique on vases, pots, bottles, trays or other ceramic items. In this project I used: White chalk paint Paper napkins with a white background Decoupage glue diluted with water Soft flat brush Fine sanding pad Water brush Polyvine Decorator’s Varnish for a top coat Decorative wax for a little sparkle I hope this makeover inspires you to try your own decoupage project.
