The second part of an interview video featuring actress Hinako Sakurai and actor Ryosuke Miura, stars of the Hulu drama series "My Little Lover," was released on MAiDiGiTV on February 20th. In the second part of the interview, they talk about each other's lives on set as well as their interactions with their co-stars outside of filming. "My Little Lover" is the first installment of the "Margaret Love Stories" series, a collaboration between the girls' manga magazine Margaret (Shueisha) and Hulu. It is based on the manga of the same name by Zakuri Sato (serialized from 2010 to 2014). Mairu Kinoshita (Sakurai), a plain and unpopular high school girl who believes herself to be ugly, is transformed into a cute girl under the production of the handsome Kumada Tenyu (Kamio Fuju). This Cinderella story follows a woman who changes her life through her own efforts and finds true love. Miura plays Fuwari, Mairu's uncle, a fashion designer who looks and feels like a woman at heart. The script is by Yukiko Mochiji and the director is Takashi Ninomiya. Sakurai praised Miura, who plays Fuwari, the "beautiful uncle," saying, "He's so beautiful, I can't take my eyes off him! I stared so hard I thought there was an actress sitting next to me in the dressing room." On set, Miura "drank really stylish tea. I thought, 'That's wonderful!'" revealing how he embodied the image of the character described as the "beautiful uncle" even outside of his acting. Meanwhile, Miura seemed to sense a generational gap, commenting on the younger cast members, including Sakurai, "Everyone was fresh. That's all there is to it." When asked about popular topics on set, Sakurai replied, "Yes! Miura wasn't there..." to which Miura replied, "I saw it on social media and was really jealous. Why couldn't I join in?" When he heard that the popular topic was "something like a buzzer quiz," he insisted, "I can do that too," causing Sakurai to burst into laughter. The drama is currently streaming on Hulu.
