Upper tailgate latch failure on 2013 BMW X5 e70 (Fixed *See updated video)
The upper tailgate on my 2013 X5 was closing but only latching halfway. I would constantly get notifications to close the trunk while driving. It was also opening halfway at times instead of fully opening. I couldn't find a YouTube video that helped me solve the problem, I finally figured it out and it was simply just two bolts (13mm socket ) and an adjustment on the lower portion of the latch.
