Nancy is continuing the Great Basics quilt with this tutorial to work on the borders. Catch the other episodes Nancy did for this series on the OnPoint-TV YouTube channel. The quilt has cornerstones and side borders. The top is complete with the nine patch blocks, setting squares, setting triangles and corner triangles. The stripes on the setting triangles and corner triangles bump up the uniqueness of the quilt. Nancy spray sizes the quilt with Mary Ellen's Best Press and presses it flat and as square as possible. Then she goes to the next step of adding the borders. This quilt has cornerstones so Nancy doesn't have to put one border on at a time. It makes it a little easier.
