WIlliams WPC General Illumination (GI) Explanation and Demonstration.
WIlliams WPC General Illumination (GI) Explanation and Demonstration. For further discussion on this topic, see: https://www.pinwiki.com/wiki/index.ph... I neglected to mention in the video that the Zero Cross circuit signals originate at BR2 (bridge rectifier 2), which also rectifies about 9VAC from the transformer secondary (J101). The rectified AC is passed to C5 for filtering and then regulated down to 5VDC via the LM323K. Often, well meaning hobbyists rip the fine ZC traces from the through holes of BR2, which will prevent zero cross detection which will prevent dimming of the general illumination lamps. http://ChrisHiblerPinball.com/Contact
