Going back to 1998 i made a movie called BIGGEST WEDNESDAY Condition Black. It was my first trip to Peahi/Jaws and was literally one of the biggest swells to hit Hawaii back in the day. Well, this was maybe BIGGER! This day was documented on the same day as the EDDIE AIKAU BIG WAVE CONTEST at Waimea Bay. When the swell peaked is a good chance that the world's biggest wave was surfed. Peahi/Jaws is literally at the top of the pile when it comes to the best big wave surf spots.
