Octatrack as the Ultimate Everything Machine | Xtal Cover Live

This is the grand finale of my Octatrack demo series. In one complete long-form performance I turn the Octatrack into the ultimate “everything machine”: Sequencing the entire track Triggering drums on the Pulsar-23 Playing chords on the Prophet Rev2 Layering custom voice samples And using the crossfader for real-time DJ-style performance FX All of it live, no computer, just the Octatrack running the show.I’m covering/remixing Aphex Twin’s classic “Xtal” to show how flexible and powerful the Octatrack can be. Every technique I’ve broken down in the previous videos (sampling, MIDI sequencing, performance FX, scene switching, etc.) is now combined in one flowing piece. If you’ve been following the series, this is the payoff, everything in one take. If you’re new, this is the perfect “wow” video to see some of what the Octatrack is capable of. Gear used: • Elektron Octatrack (MIDI brain + samples) • Pulsar-23 hybrid drum & perc sequencing • Sequential Prophet Rev2 for poly chords • Crossfader assigned to live DJ FX & filter sweeps Drop a comment with your favorite moment or which Octatrack trick you want to see next If you want the full patch breakdown + project file, let me know. I’ll drop it in my patreon. Thanks for riding the entire series with me. More madness coming soon. #Octatrack #AphexTwin #Xtal #ElectronicMusic #IDM #SynthMusic #LiveRemix #MusicProduction #Elektron #Pulsar23 #ProphetRev2 #EverythingMachine #LivePerformance #CoverRemix #AnalogSynth #DrumMachine #Modular #DJFX #OctatrackTutorial #JawnDoeMusic
