Nikolai Obukhov - La Paix pour les Réconciliés (Larry Sitsky, piano)
Full title on publication: La paix pour les réconciliés vers la source avec la calice (Peace for the reconciled towards the source of the chalice) The composer's name is also spelled Nicolas Obouhow (also Obouhov) Another one of Obukhov's deeply personal piano pieces, inextricably linked to his beliefs and way of thinking. The notation here is his own, where Xs take the place of any accidental that would come up in conventionally notated music. A few of his pieces are freely available via download from IMSLP - the very few that were published by Durand in his lifetime. More recently an excellent collection of his piano pieces were published by Henry Lemoine and these are thankfully still in print.
