Slowing Down in Shanghai 🇨🇳 | Xingguang Camera Market, Lujiazui Views & City Nights

Day 2 in Shanghai began at Xingguang Photographic Equipment City, a well-known hub for cameras, lenses, and photography gear, filled with small shops and endless options for creators. Xingguang Photographic Equipment City in Shanghai is one of the largest photography equipment markets in the city, often described as a “photographer’s paradise”. It spans multiple buildings and several floors dedicated to all kinds of photography gear. You can find new and used equipment, from DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, and lenses to vintage cameras like the Chinese “Seagull,” along with lighting gear, accessories, and services like repairs, printing, and framing. We spent time exploring, taking in the atmosphere before making our way toward Lujiazui, the city’s modern financial district, where skyscrapers rise above the skyline. It was a slower day, a moment to step away from fast-paced sightseeing and simply rest, wander, and take in the details of the city. We ended the day at Super Brand Mall, one of the largest shopping centers in the area, where we spent the evening eating, shopping, and watching the city lights come alive.
