Colmar Tropicale in Berjaya Hills, Pahang, Malaysia was inspired by the ancient town of Colmar in Alsace, France. And we have former Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad to thank for that! He was so enamored with the original Colmar town that he returned to Malaysia and convinced Dato Vincent Tan to develop Malaysia's very own version of it. Malaysia boleh, indeed.
