Alcudia - Happy Memories May 2026

We were in all three parts of Alcúdia – which are Port d'Alcúdia (the port town), Alcúdia (the old town) and Platja d'Alcúdia (the tourist/beach area) – it is possible to walk between these places, if you like walking. We were also in @Can Picafort, @Puerto Pollensa, @Inca and a little bit here and there in our search for new exciting things to see and do. Local buses are a good way to get around, but they can be a bit reluctant to accept cash. The month of May can be a bit noisy in some places, which is because those who have bungalows and similar will be renovating and having the necessary maintenance of their homes and gardens before the season starts, so if you live close to local houses, there may be some noise. The biggest change since the early 80s is the attitude towards tourists - in our opinion it has decreased significantly. Locals should place responsibility where it belongs, with their authorities, not bother the tourists - who are the livelihood of many in Mallorca. Nobody needs cheaper apartments if the tourists don't come - then the jobs will disappear too. #Alcudia #calador #Sanctuary_of_SantSalvador #FestivalParkZoo #CalaAzulGarden #CalaAzulPark #Manacor #Santanyí #CalaFerrera #PortoColom #PortoCristo #Coves_del_Drach #palma_de_mallorca #PalmaDeMallorca #Inca #CalaEgos #Portopetro #Catedral-Basílica_de_SantaMaría_de_Mallorca #LaSeu #Escultura #lasrocas #mallorca #travel #vacation #canpicafort #mallorcatravel #palma Please also see my TripAdvisor & Google reviews And hopefully click on Like (please) :-)
