Chasing Sakura in Japan: 5 Days in Tohoku Region I BautistAdventures
We've experienced summer and winter, and now spring! Japan is truly beautiful! And this time, we went to the Tohoku Region to chase sakura, as our travel dates (April 19-23) could only catch the northern part of Japan. We maximized the JR East Pass and enjoyed the unlimited Shinkansen rides. The weather was breezy and sunny, perfect for the chase. We saw past peak and the beautiful peak! What a great 5-day exploration of other parts of Japan. Happy we were able to visit 5 out of the 6 prefectures in Tohoku!
