Today I rode two engines. These are last year's Moskvarog 12R project. The Moskva head is on the leg of a reversible Veterok, and the latest Veterok 12R build. That is, the Veterok 12 head is on the reversible leg. For testing, I used two propellers: a Neptunian red one with a 280 pitch and a stock propeller from a B12R with a 242 pitch. I simply swapped the propellers from one engine to the other, so the conditions for equality were met. The trim on both engines was located on the second hole from the transom. The load is the same. The carburetors on both engines are from a Tecumseh snowblower with fixed jets (a cheaper version compared to carburetors with adjustable jets). The GTZ on the Moskva is bored out to 1.28 mm, and on the B12 it is 1.23. The ignition on both engines has automatic ignition timing. Honestly, I didn't expect such agility from the B12 in the last test. The water speed was, as predicted, 31-32 km/h. At first, I said it might be 33, but that was a mistake on my part, because then I would have had to remove the transom wheels and everything else from the boat. But the 31-32 km/h for this kit matched the prediction. And you can't get around physics. I can sell the B12's head, but not the legs.
