JD Vance Lied About Texas’ Ten Commandments Law to Joe Rogan

During an interview with Joe Rogan, Vice President J.D. Vance repeatedly misrepresented Texas’ Ten Commandments law, claiming it doesn’t force religion on anyone and pretending it merely acknowledges American history. In reality, the law requires every public school classroom to display a specific Christian version of the commandments while excluding teachings from other faiths. Rogan raised objections made by Democratic State Rep. James Talarico, a Christian seminarian and U.S. Senate candidate—and Vance’s evasive answers only exposed how indefensible this government-sponsored religious coercion really is.
