Most of the bag is unchanged, so this Monos Backpack Review still covers all of the bases. The biggest change is a simplification of the front QuickSnap system, which can now be modular and fit their other small front bags. In my opinion, this looks cleaner and makes it even easier. This video is in no way sponsored by Monos, and I was not provided a review unit. I made this purchase a few years ago in search of a solid backpack after enjoying my Monos Hybrid Carryon. I've been using the Monos Metro Backpack as an every-day carry for the past two years or so. This version is the black nylon because I want to make sure it has longevity over the daily wear and tear. It's far and away the best bag I've owned, and I use this on every single trip I take to bring some extra clothing, packing essentials and even camera gear from time to time. The laptop sleeve is handy, but one of my favorite features is the "secret" compartment along the back that can fit a passport, cash/cards, and even an AirTag in case I misplace it or it gets stolen (which hasn't happened yet). I love this bag's minimalist design - it's not flashy but still stylish and appropriate for a wide variety of occasions, like work and travel. The strap on the back slides over any luggage handle, which makes it easier to carry when you're walking a lot with your luggage. I typically pair this with the Mono Hybrid Carry-on, which I'll do a review on in the near future, for a clean, put-together look. You won't look overly touristy with any Monos product, but this just fits my personal aesthetic really well. I hope you enjoy this video!
