Noreia - Zrejlo je žito / An Dro [Official Video]
A track taken from our latest album Viže, where we try to merge "Celtic" traditions with folk music from Slovenia. Zrejlo je žito is a very popular and beautiful folk song from eastern part of Slovenia called Prekmurje. We took inspiration from the Irish slow air tradition, so we play the song instrumentally. We finish off the set with a Breton folk dance tune An Dro, which is danced in a circle, similarly to kolo (a type of dance in Slovenia) . Video filmed in Slovenia in April 2019.
