A full plane of top Dubai brokers lands in Salalah, and at first the trip feels almost festive: hotel rooms, Mira T-shirts made especially for the mastermind, dinner, laughter, a quiz about what makes Oman special. But no one has come here just for the welcome. The whole point is to let people feel the place before they’re asked to back the project. By the next morning, brokers, architects and technical teams are all in one room, and the atmosphere is already more serious. Marco Casamonti speaks about architecture as an artistic act, and for a while the project feels exactly like that — ambitious, visual, open to imagination. Then the sessions begin, and the friction starts. Engineers need drawings they can actually build from. Architects want to keep control. Back in Dubai, Trussardi Residences is already moving in a different reality: block work begins, the core rises, and the first pool is starting to take shape.
