Act II - ' A Bird Without Wings'

CELTIC THUNDER - 'ACT II' DVD Celtic Thunder –Act II is a journey through the Celtic heritage of the 5 principal soloists, backed by a dramatic 8-piece Celtic Thunder Band and supported by a full orchestra. Act II was filmed in Dublin’s Helix Theatre, featuring a varied and eclectic song selection of songs that encompass both traditional and contemporary Irish music. Songs such as “The Island” and "A Bird Without Wings" pay homage to a Celtic heritage, while international hits "Mull of Kintyre”, “I Want to Know What Love Is” and "Brothers In Arms" highlight the diversity of the soloists. Phil Coulter, Musical Director for Act II also composed the original numbers "Heartbreaker" and "That’s A Woman" especially for this show. Celtic Thunder's blended vocal harmonies in the ensemble numbers "Steal Away” and the anthem “Ireland’s Call” are proof the amazing talents of the vocalists.
