Just when we thought The Young Ones couldn't get any stranger... London floods, sharks swim past the windows, and somehow that's only the beginning. In "Flood," the gang barely notices that the city has disappeared beneath rising water while they're busy dealing with bizarre inventions, magical potions, hide-and-seek, and one of the weirdest sequences we've seen in the series so far. Every few minutes this episode threw something completely unexpected at us, and we gave up trying to predict what would happen next! One thing we've come to love about The Young Ones is that it refuses to follow any rules. Just when you think you've got a handle on the story, it throws in another surreal twist that somehow fits perfectly with the show's chaotic energy. And of course, we loved finishing the episode with another fantastic musical performance—one of our favorite traditions that makes every episode feel unique.
