Naval crews beat each other with oars as Philippine and Chinese vessels clash over territory

China Coast Guard (CCG) and Philippine Navy personnel clashed as tensions flared over disputed territory in the South China Sea. Footage shows Filipino troops aboard a black rubber boat trying to drive away CCG officers as they approached a grounded Philippine warship in the contested Ayungin Shoal, some 105 nautical miles off the Philippine island of Palawan.
