Large Job Shop Adds 1st Haas VMC with a Haas Robot Package

AMI Machining has over 30 Haas CNC machines on their shop floor and recently installed their 1st integrated with a Haas Robot Package. The decision to purchase the robot was based on increased work in their shop, against a skill gap making it harder to find qualified operators. The idea being to have the new VF-2SS w/RB1 handle their larger volume jobs. However, the robot has turned out to be much easier to program then they thought, so now they use it for small volume jobs as well as large volume production.
