My Mother Cooked the Most Delicious Afghan Meal for the Family

Today, we start our day early in the morning. After waking up, my mother and sisters prepare the traditional tandoor to bake large Afghan naan bread. While they are busy making bread, my father walks a long distance to water the plants and fields. As the day gets warmer and noon approaches, my mother and sisters prepare delicious Afghan chicken shorba for lunch. When my father returns from the fields, our family gathers together to enjoy the meal. Later, we work together to bring the plants back home, where they will be used for cooking and daily life in our village.
